Step into Finland's enchanting springtime beauty with this handmade 3D pop-up card. As the card opens, a peaceful spring lake landscape rises up, where two pairs of whooper swans – Finland's national bird – glide along the shore of calm water beside a sunlit birch grove. The scene comes to life with fresh spring greens, the soft buds of pussy willows, the violet glow of hepaticas and smooth shoreline stones, and the layers come together into a stunning three-dimensional whole.
The cover carries the same watercolour mood and tells you before opening that this is a card from the Magical Finland series. Inside there is room for your own greeting.
This is more than a card – it is a small piece of the Finnish spring that will stay on the shelf all year round. Part of the four-season Magical Finland series: collect all four, or give spring to someone who is waiting for the swans to return.
